The next generation of networking technologies is here. Software Defined Networking, or SDN for short, is a better way to utilize your network. SDN, built on the OpenFlow standard, adds a plane of intelligence to your network infrastructure that is separate from the hardware (aka switches and routers), but allows you to control network flows and optimizes them dynamically to your specific needs. In effect, the SDN “Controller” application, redefines how the hardware handles traffic, and gives you better control and security than what was possible before.
Built on the principles of intent-based networking, SD-Access helps organizations enable policy-based automation from the edge to the cloud.
SD-Access gives network architects the tools to orchestrate key business functions like onboarding, secure segmentation, IoT integration, and guest access.
SD-Access automates user and device policy for any application across the wireless and wired network via a single network fabric.
And SD-Access is a transformational shift. It allows IT to set network access in minutes for any user, device, or application, without compromising on security.
SD-WAN is an acronym for software-defined networking in a wide area network (WAN). SD-WAN simplifies the management and operation of a WAN by decoupling the networking hardware from its control mechanism. This concept is like how software-defined networking implements virtualization technology to improve data center management and operation.
A key application of SD-WAN is to allow companies to build higher-performance WANs using lower-cost and commercially available Internet access, enabling businesses to replace more expensive private WAN connection technologies partially or wholly such as MPLS.
American marketing research firm Gartner predicted in 2018 that by 2023 more than 90 percent of WAN edge infrastructure refresh initiatives will be based on virtualized customer premises equipment (vCPE) platforms or SD-WAN software/appliances.
From entry level to software-defined storage solutions for your business most important asset: Data.
Data is the most important asset of a company’s operation. And using a proper infrastructure to store this data makes all the difference from a responsiveness and availability perspective. Having access to the data wherever and whenever needed is key to being competitive in the market.
Whether you need a NAS to store files, a SAN storage to consolidate all your data, a backup solution to protect your data, an archiving platform, or a Big Data infrastructure, we can provide a solution optimized to work within your existing infrastructure, that perfectly meets your capacity and performance requirements with the capabilities you need, and matching your specific budget.
The Storage portfolio covers:
ENTRY-LEVEL storage platforms allow users to take advantage of the latest storage technologies in simple and efficient ways by providing a good balance between performance and budget resulting in a highly favorable $/GB return on their investment
ENTERPRISE TIER1 storage platforms deliver the performance advantages of a purpose-built, flash-optimized architecture without compromising resiliency, efficiency, or data mobility
SOFTWARE DEFINED storage provides complete storage array functionality for virtualized environments without the need for external array hardware. It eliminates the need for external shared storage required to implement advanced hypervisor features and is an integrated component of hyper-converged infrastructures
Stop waste, increase availability, and manage costs. CLOUD IQ offers server virtualization and shared storage solutions that put your organization in an ideal position for future growth. Server virtualization prevents server hardware sprawl, which leads to unnecessary complexity, limited availability, and increased costs.
Virtualization help you to:
- Reduce hardware requirements and operating costs by over 50%
- Decrease data-center energy costs by up to 80%
- Increase server utilization by over 25% or more
- Always provide high availability for all users
- Perform maintenance at any time without disrupting users and services
- Eliminate recovery steps and simplify the process in the event of an emergency
- always have access to critical business information regardless of business size
- Maximize storage consumption and eliminate “points of failure”
- Take advantage of easy scalability to ensure optimal end-user performance you’re ready for Virtualization.
We make It Easy. Our certified experts will virtualize your company’s servers by analyzing your current IT environment and business goals, providing you with a customized solution.
The main difference between Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors is that Type 1 runs on bare metal and Type 2 runs on top of an OS. Each hypervisor type also has its own pros and cons and specific use cases.
Virtualization works by abstracting physical hardware and devices from the applications running on that hardware. The process of virtualization manages and provisions the system’s resources, including processor, memory, storage, and network resources. This enables the system to host more than one workload simultaneously, making more cost- and energy-efficient use of the available servers and systems across the organization.
Endpoint Security (or) Endpoint Protection refers to the approach of protecting a business network when accessed by remote devices like smartphones, laptops, tablets, or other wireless devices.
It includes monitoring status, software, and activities. The endpoint protection software is installed on all network servers and on all endpoint devices.
Network Security is an organization’s strategy and provisions for ensuring the security of its assets and of all network traffic. Network security is manifested in an implementation of security policy, hardware, and software. For the purposes of this discussion, the following approach is adopted to view network security in its entirety:
- Policy
- Enforcement
- Auditing

Internet Protocol television (IPTV) is a system through which television services are delivered using the Internet protocol suite over a packet-switched network such as a LAN or the Internet, instead of being delivered through traditional terrestrial, satellite signal, and cable television formats. Unlike downloaded media, IPTV offers the ability to stream the media in smaller batches, directly from the source. As a result, a client media player can begin playing the data (such as a movie) before the entire file has been transmitted. This is known as streaming media.
IPTV services may be classified into two main groups:
- Live television, with or without interactivity related to the current TV show.
- Video on demand(VOD): browse a catalog of videos, not related to TV programming.
IPTV is distinguished from Internet television by its ongoing standardization process (e.g., European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and preferential deployment scenarios in subscriber-based telecommunications networks with high-speed access channels into end-user premises via set-top boxes or other customer-premises equipment.
